Mother's Day Mini Scrapbook

Making a mothers day mini scrapbook out of chipboard. Its a word album with the letters MOM and is 4" x 8.5" about. I made a template for it so you can download the mini album template here if you want. Simply print out on to paper and cut out the pages, trace them onto chipboard, cut and decorate....
You don't have to use it for mothers day (especially since it is only 3 days away!!) although since the album is only three pages so you could totally finish it easy peasy. You can whip one up for your mamas birthday or whatever. Throw in some photos and a nice quote or two and you're set. It could make a cool mothers day card too. hmmmm.
Go see whats up at SC for more mummies day ideas and some mini album examples.
It looks like this:

In the zip file.
I have created a couple of gif files if you want to make your own. One is A4 sized with all three pages on it. It might chop off the edges when printed but you should be right. The other three gifs are each of the pages M, O and M seperately... just in case...

Mother's Day Poem

A mother's day Poem for your mini book or gift card.

Mom, over the years,
I've watched
the wonderful ways
you've made life special
for our family...
the moments of love
and laughter,
the traditions
and memories
we'll carry with us
throughout our lives.
But most of all
I've watched the way
you've shown us
the true meaning of love
in everything you do.

mothers day scrapbook canvas project

mothers day is around the corner and there are some great projects out there. this mothers day scrapbook canvas by Ruth Clarke puts a different spin on flowers for mother's day. It is so cute with mesh and flowers. the colours are gorgeous and there is a touching mom quote which is bound to pull at poor ol moms heart strings. she doesn't stand a chance. I wonder if Ruth took the photo herself? You could probably find a great pic at a photo stock site or even flickr that you can print (with permission or at a cost) you can check it out over at Ruths blog. She also shows off her family tree project which would also make a fantastic mother's day gift.
