A very cool stumpwork mini fabric book

Love this stumpwork mini fabric book made by Beth Lea from the Bluebell Wood blog. In case you were wondering, Stumpwork is another type of embroidery, it's 3 dimensional and is often referred to as raised work. It was popular in the olden days (around the late 1600 - 1700's)

This little mini is only 2 inches high.
If you want to see how Beth created this mini then head over to her blog for a very detailed description including templates, advice and even a shopping list of supplies. Beth has really done a great job putting this together (It makes me want to add stumpwork to my growing list of crafts i want to learn.... sigh)
