Christmas Competition Winners!

found an old tutorial to make a journal to jot down all your ideas and sketches from used brown paper sacks. Unlike a paper bag album these bags are opened up, soaked and bound together with a coptic stitch. Definitely a great way to upcycle your paper grocery bags into a workable piece of art.

Yep you heard right.
Rhonda from has made these outrageous itty bitty book earings and has them up for sale in her Etsy store - MyhandboundBooks where she has a tonne of hand made mini books on offer.

I asked Rhonda 'Why the earrings?' to which she replies 'The itty bitty books are a lot of fun to make. and since they aren't very practical, turning them into jewelry seems so logical! Having a little fun making this quick little mini for my darling little niece.

I didn't really do much other than put the cover together and cut out the premade tags and add a little ink to the edges. it was so quick to make i think ill make another.
